In this article about Xerophilia I talk about some cultivation notes on the needs and propagation of the Turbinicarpus pseudopectinatus cactus species, which are small plants with pectinated spines.

The Turbinicarpus genus of cactus is a botanical treasure found in the arid regions of Mexico. Known for their astonishing morphological diversity and their ability to thrive in some of nature's most extreme conditions, Turbinicarpus are a fascinating example of plant adaptation to their environment. These often tiny but equally impressive succulent plants are valued for their unique beauty and ability to survive in arid, harsh climates.
